About Our Initiative

A youth-led non-profit organisation, based in Bangkok, Thailand, that aims to educate the public about the hardships of children with cancer. All of our profits are donated directly to the Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Proton Center, the only proton therapy center in Southeast Asia, playing a vital role in providing world-class cancer treatment to patients across the region.

Through our conversation with Associate Professor Dr. Chonlakiet Khorprasert, Director of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Proton Center, we came to understand a critical reality: despite being part of Chulalongkorn Hospital, a public hospital, the cost of proton therapy remains extremely high due to advanced technology and operational requirements. Our mission is to help bridge this gap, ensuring greater access to life-saving treatment for patients who need it most.

Big ideas, real impact.

This initiative began with a simple conversation, where shared stories of loved ones affected by cancer revealed not only the emotional toll of the disease but also the heavy financial burden it places on families. Those personal experiences led us to think deeply about childhood cancer and the long-term impact treatment can have on young patients. Through extensive research, we discovered the Proton Center.

What began as a quiet, heartfelt conversation grew into a clear mission: to raise awareness, get involved, and help support greater access to life-saving proton therapy for those who need it most.

  • Peace in the Fight is dedicated to improving the lives of children battling cancer by providing joyful activities in local Thai hospitals, while also fundraising to support research on cancer as well as treatments. We believe every child, regardless of the burden of their illness, deserves a childhood. We, as a community, can make it happen

  • A world where every child with cancer gets to experience a joyful and fun childhood that they deserve, with access to the best possible care, with a lesser impact from cancer. We envision a global community as a unity that helps fight for the future of children battling cancer.

  • Our purple feed represents unity and support for those affected by cancer. The lavender ribbon is a powerful symbol of hope for all types of cancer, reminding us that together, we can fight this battle.

Many also wear ribbons in a rainbow of colors to highlight various cancers, while light purple or lavender ribbons symbolize cancer awareness as a whole.
